GLP-1 receptor agonists and Risk of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Complications in patients with OSA and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Tirzepatide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1RA), is the first approved medication for the treatment of moderate to severe OSA and has previously been found to reduce cardiovascular risks in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Our study analyzed the effects of GLP-1RA in preventing cardiovascular and pulmonary complications in patients with OSA and T2DM during a 5-year follow-up period.
