A Discussion on Available Software Tools for the FAIR Assessment of the CORE DATA SET for Diabetes Research in Germany.

FAIR assessment tools evaluate the extent to which a data asset aligns to the FAIR data principles. This work discusses our experiences of working with four software tools for FAIR assessment using the example of the core data set for diabetes research in Germany. It is anticipated that the outcome of this work will inform the development of FAIR assessment tools and aid future users in the comparison and selection of a FAIR assessment tool for their FAIRification journeys.
